We got another .20” of rain yesterday morning to go with the .20” we got last week. We had around 1” on April 16 but that’s it if my memory serves me correctly. It pretty dry around here. Hopefully I will finish up planting beans for my friend & his neighbor by Saturday, in fact most of the planting around here should be wrapped up by Saturday. It will be nice to have a 2-3 week break before haying season starts.

Well Kenny from North Carolina carried off the Root Lumberjack, the Clinton D35 and a Poulan 245A.

Freakin Root was LOUD. So was the Clinton.

He also wanted my Wards 5.0” but I balked on turning loose of it.

What are you trying to protect? House, cabin, boat, shed, trees, etc.?

It covers the cabin and shed and about an acre of woods. It lays down 3 inches of water in 24 hrs. The volunteer fire department refuels them with propane if there is a fire nearby. 75 lb tank will run it for about 48 hrs.

Cedar board kits for raised beds..
I’ve milled up 6 kits so far.
4x8x12” boxes
When you make the boards 5/4” thick, it makes em a lot more substantial than the kits they sell at the farm and home stores.

These were the ones I made for Jim. He sent me pics.

Now I need more cedar logs.

Are you on an island?
No island, but is a boat access property with the lake on the North boundary, and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness to the South. Off the grid and no road access and the only neighbors are on the North side of the lake.
BWCAW is over 2 million acres of woods and lakes, with no motors allowed, just canoes and kayaks that you can portage from lake to lake. Skis and snowshoes only during the Winter.
Fortunately, those rules don't apply to private property nearby!

I wish I could find some cedar logs, my wife wants around 12 3x10' raised beds in our garden area this year.
