First real vacation trip we made in '56 was to Yellowstone with stops at all the usual places. Corn Palace, Wall Drug, Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, etc.
Spent two days at a resort in the Medicine Bow range SW of Cheyanne. Rode horses, cought trout (tiny) collected rocks.
1957 we made a bee line to the place and spent a whole week. Followed logging roads to more stream access points and fished lots.

I tried the same thing with our kids but it was a dismal failure. Glued to their Walkman and Gameboys they were.[emoji21]

Got to take some more tests. Possibly poor circulation or nerve damage in my legs.
I didn't want to say anything, but this is one of the reasons there were no charity cuts last season. My legs just weren't up to the task.
