Have not been on this site for a bit. Too busy. Been making more mods to the sawmill. Added two more hydraulic functions for the new log dogs. Junking the OEM log dogs. Added a winch to help turn huge logs. Plus fixing the wire managment. The steel is 3/4 AR400,

That looks distinctly "woodmizer".

It is Woodmizer. They sold me the parts. Two sets. I ordered the shafts from a hydraulic shop and then cut to length. Not easy to cut to length. Length of shaft is 48.5 inches. Then drilled and tapped the ends for 1/2" bolts.

Two clamps will be slick!

Those chrome plated rods are some kind of hard.....
I cut a couple 3" ones off once with a metal bandsaw, took literally hours to saw through one of those things.

I am looking at the SYNC 45
hypertherm is the best but expensive. i bought a bestarc 80 amp off amazon for like $900 i was very skeptical about it but it clean cuts 1". and anything less does very well. it variable voltage at well. it is cheap made but has worked well for me. if i was gonna run it everyday id go hypertherm still. but occasional use or hobby it is just fine. it doesn't work with cnc but there are some in that price point that does. look up lotus plasma cutters as well that was what is was gonna get but tried the cheaper one and it turned out well.
