Back from Lawrence KS..
Boys got to warm up..
Just in time to have the officials call off throwing cause it was too dark!!

All the boys were throwing great too.
Levi was warming up at 140 and the kid from Moore OK dropped about a 180' bomb in warm ups.
Would have been a good night..

Got to chat with Kenneth a bit though. So all was not lost.

Dang nice evening. Enjoyed the chat . That 180 would be hard to beat.

How old was the kid that dropped a 180? Pretty impressive.

Work blows....6 down, 6 to go

Turned out pretty ok,
I did it old school as it came from the factory. All the brackets and hardware was there except one handle
I will have less than 300 in the boat when it's done.
If I do it again I will do my super strong
Transom with 1 inch angle and a 2x12
The last one I did I could stand on
The 20 hp anti cavitation plate

BTDT on a fiberglass boat. It was a bad feeling to look back and see the transom fiberglass at about a 45 degree angle when you gassed it because the wood inside was rotted out and finally gave way. I was at Table Rock Dam when I noticed it and could just imagine seeing my motor sink into 200 feet of water with my boat following it.[emoji50]

Evening fella's. Another project in the books today after I mowed the ditches out front. Upgraded roosts for the chickens. I increased their sleeping quarters four-fold today. Should make for happy chickens.

That's always been my fear
I have seen where a aluminum boat
Can pop open like a can of beans
Because of bad transom falure
