I've got a ss tea pot with a basket that holds coffee grounds as well as t leafs. Propane Turkey fryer burner works well.
Auction win yesterday. Only wanted single bit for driving wedges in future felling but came as pair. Any of you youngsters want a double bit? Inexpensive View attachment 229245
I like a good double bit axe.

Yup! Got them for the last two years to do it! The board wanted to change off. But they should have had someone booked already. Getting a little late. Then they call me. Ain't that grand!

This guy (and his buddies) do the Tulsa State Fair. I would reach out to him. If he can't do it, maybe he can point you in the right direction.

Interesting, sounds like a percolator type coffee maker of some sort? A percolator is what I use every day. Makes the best coffee I've ever had.

Not a percolator.

The hot water was forced up into the top by expansion/steam pressure. One trip thru the grounds unlike a percolator.

Remove heat and it drained back down.

That is exactly what it is.
We ought not to be stupid on purpose with viruses, but this whole scam is just to make people fear.
It is easy to make a statistical number sound scary, unless they show it beside a number that people recognize...

Well @Cat 525, I have not had much luck in contacting the local chainsaw carver. My phone calls to his folks for his phone number have yet to be returned.

You may want to contact this fella, he is located in Cumberland IA

Thanks! I checked with him and he doesn't do fairs anymore. Said he's booked out 6 mos with private carvings. Must be a good one!

Morning all. Up in KCKS this week getting some rigs checked out. The rain yesterday made things less than pleasant lol. With some luck I’ll have everything taken care of today and head back south tomorrow.

The death scoreboard is funny when talking about ordinary seasonal flu deaths: 20,000-52,000 is quite a range. Wonder how they came up with that?

That is exactly what it is.

Yes, there are a lot less deaths from the corona virus but there are a lot less people infected/exposed compared to the flu...that we know about anyway. I think there is much unknown; but what they believe is that the mortality rate is higher for the corona virus. This is a quote, "It (corona virus) has killed roughly 2% of the people who have contracted it so far, according to world health officials. That compares with a mortality rate of 0.095% for the flu in the U.S., according to CDC estimates for the 2019-2020 flu season."

If my math is correct, you are 21 times more likely to die from the corona virus than the flu.

does anyone have information on porting the exhaust side of a cylinder, does it matter if work the top or the bottom of the exhaust port? could messing it up mean ruining a cylinder or should I practice on a smaller saw to start off? also do the crank seals from an 041 farmboss fit an 041 AVSE?

I'm not sure about the seals. The port work question is too vague to be able to give any solid advice.

Usually there’s no need to touch the ex floor, unless you need more area for expanding gases and can’t get it from width or height. I’d play with a cheap or junk cylinder first to get your feet wet. And be careful raising the ex roof. You’ll lose trapped compression raise the power band a little, but at the expense of a wide torque curve.

Disclaimer;
Lol. I’ve never done an 041
