Mother had an all glass drip coffee maker. Rubber grommet held the top w/grounds to the bottom. Set it on the stove and turned it off when the heat had forced all the water from the bottom to the top. Made good coffee. [emoji106]

Yup.. Melts right through. Then the squirt of blood following cools off the hot needle.

Interesting, sounds like a percolator type coffee maker of some sort? A percolator is what I use every day. Makes the best coffee I've ever had.

I've got a ss tea pot with a basket that holds coffee grounds as well as t leafs. Propane Turkey fryer burner works well.
Auction win yesterday. Only wanted single bit for driving wedges in future felling but came as pair. Any of you youngsters want a double bit? Inexpensive

Our children have never seen the ocean before.
We will have a condo right on the beach, so it should be fun!
