I relocated the mounts and spring hangers on a 7000# Dexter axle to fit and replaced the coupler with a Demco 10,000# EZ-Latch. It has EZ Lube 8-stud hubs and 12" drum brakes.

Nice. I'm about ready to craft a single axle trailer out of a 7x17 steel "pallet" that a new printing press was shipped on from Japan. Its 4" channel and I want to put a 7000# axle under it.

I can give you the number of the guy that I bought mine from. He doesn't have his listing on Marketplace anymore but he was supposed to have access to several. I'll guarantee that you won't find a better deal anywhere if the dimensions are close to what you will need. I paid less than 10% of what a new setup would cost.

Got the GTG van fixed today. Come to find out, both the VSS and TPS control the shift points of the transmission. It was shifting out of 1st at 40 and wouldn't shift out of 2nd. It's acting normal now. Thank the Lord.
Then I grabbed the leaf blower and rearranged the leaves in the front yard.
Oh yeah, and I got the flue cleaned out, too.
:)

That a deal! The few axles I've priced on the web have been around 500.

This one was $75 with springs, tires, wheels, and a pair of triple axle frame rails with the spring hangers on them. They have low use because they were used to tow generators to a worksite and then were removed.

So he tore it up and brought it back like that?
Yes...

But trust me, nobody wants Jerry trying to fix it..
I told him to just park it by the shop, I’d get it patched up. Lol

Ain’t like it’s the first time it’s had cutting and welding done on it.

Be good practice for Levi.
