Cool!

I have a NOS cylinder for an RA.

I was going to use it on 'Fat Alice' but don't need to make the old hoe hard to pull over.

Haven't had time to check the cylinder, yet. But it has monster compression.
Got to clean out the tank before anything else. Paint thinner, but no white death. Pulled the top cover, outside of cylinder is really pretty clean. Was surprised there was not much saw dust build up at all.

The crank bearings are originally shielded. I bet the grease needs changed. Alice has open bearings now.
I have friction washers for the starter if you need some.

I was surprised with the recoil, pull about out slowly about 2 inches and get full engagement. My experience with Fairbanks-Morris starters, I'm very impressed with that.

Evening Fella's
Working on it Chet.
Levi bombed a 141' today at the field.
I'll try to iron out the logistics Monday or Tuesday. He says he wants to go.

Mowed, edged, weedeated the lawn and cleaned the guttering, then started the guttering on my neighbor's house. Sitting on your butt for 7 weeks takes a toll on ones stamina. Add to that it is 80º with about 65% humidity and I am toast (wet soggy toast).

Carl, I did make it through season 3 of Blue Bloods during my hiatus. Excellent, excellent show in my book.

I started my day by putting on a big pot of brown beans and dehydrating apples for the weekend. I sprayed weed/grass killer in all the places in the yard I don't like to trim (6 gallons worth), serviced the water softener, worked in the garden, killed a vicious rabbit eating sprouts in the garden and then searched for the hole in the fence.

Lunch break. The wife made pan fried venison backstrap, home made biscuits and gravy. I followed that with a scotch, nap and then back to work. More yard work, fixed a weed eater, repaired the garden fence, set a trap for a possum, dehydrated more apples and stopped for supper.

Now I'm ready for an ice pack and some aspirin.

Caught some nice redear and bluegills
And a couple 18 inch bass
Saturday
I took a 3 mile trip down a large creek
Into parsons lake
Caught pan fish and catfish
And a drum. Not the fastest fishing
But a nice place to fish supposed
To be good channels and flathead in there too
