Got some mowing in down at the farm today. The clover/oats/rye food plot was getting tall. Glad I didn't wait till next week. Would've been 6ft instead of 5. Waterways were getting ridiculous too.

Now sitting on the deck, relaxing and watching it rain (again)

Howdy folks! Nice score there, Steve.

Been fooling around back and forth with the doctor's office for a few days. Looks like I need a new left hip. My original issue hip seems to have something called Avascular Necrosis. Hopefully when I get the new one, they'll send me home with the IPL and service manual. :roto2lol:

That's bad stuff. Prayers sent. Hope the pain is manageable and surgery goes well. If you get it done soon you should be back in shape for wood cutting season. Keep us posted. I've been putting off surgery on my shoulder for 5 years now, but what you have won't wait.

Been watching this little girl for 4 years. Gathering dust on the shelf. Walked in today and it was on the clearance table. Now it's sitting in my den along with Awol's 390.

Remember when you gave me ALL of your saws (truckload) for 4 of mine?

Wanna do that again? Huh? Pleeeeeeaaaase?

That doesn't sound good. My ankle sprain sounds like a walk in the park in comparison.

Same issue that I had. Had my right one replaced and then had it revised 5 years later. Surgery wasn't really too bad and I was back to work in 3 weeks. Gonna have the left one replaced this winter if I can make till then. On a bad day nothing will relieve the pain.
The first airline trip after my hip replacement wasn't fun for Tammi. She ended up hauling all of our luggage through the terminals by herself while they detained me in their special examination area. I can give you some tips on recovery if you like.

Yeah. The doc made it sound like I needed to get it done as soon as possible. I have a consult scheduled with the next doc on 7/12. This one is the actual surgeon.

I have days when nothing makes it feel better as well. Other days I don't even know anything is wrong with it. It's strange. Long drives sitting in the same position get pretty hard some days. And now that I know, I'll definitely be asking you for recovery tips when it happens. Many thanks.

Morning folks. Another 2" in the rain gauge this morning. That makes 3.5" total for the week. Happy Friday!

Yeah, sitting driving can be excruciating.

My left one doesn't seem to be that bad driving but it is messing up my normal walking to the point that my back is hurting trying to take up the slack for my hip's lack of rotation. My chiropractor told me last week that I was wasting my money seeing him because my range of movement was getting progressively worse instead of better. Haven't ridden my motorcycle for over a year because throwing a leg over the saddle isn't fun.

Steve P's CAD has progressed to new saws it appears.
Normally I would have passed on it. After all I've been looking at it on the shelf for 4 years. Every time I would go in there, I'd wander over to where it sat. I'd pick it up, pull it over a couple of times and put it back on the shelf. Buy my carb kit and head home. As many times as I've pulled that thing over, it's probably already broken in.
This time it was just too good a deal to pass up.
