May God bless and watch over the United States of America. I salute my brothers and sisters who have served, who are serving and especially those who have paid the greatest price.

A local hero for those who are interested:

Thanks for posting. I enjoyed the article. It seems that uncommon valour is more uncommon now than it has ever been.

Thank You to all that have served, and Thank You to those whose loved ones gave all. May God bless you today!

Got the yard work done yesterday. Cut a broken limb out of a front yard pin oak.
I considered using a step ladder and my Mighty Mite but used the neighbor's pole saw (manual!) instead. Moved the Snapper out of the back yard and rebuilt the ceder fence panel I tore out.
Snapper found a new home this morning! [emoji1] Hooray!

Went to the Salute to Veterans Air Show in Columbia. They had both the US and Candian FA-18 Demo Teams there along with the Golden Knights and the CAF Skyhawks skydiving teams.
Here is a pic of the US FA-18 boiling off a little water vapor at around 700 MPH.

Drug the SIL's out to put new fuel lines on it. Ryobi curved shaft.[emoji57]

Yard work today here as well. Put up some cattle panels in the garden to support our green bean vines, moved dirt and did a lot sweating.

Had lunch with my parents - brown beans and cornbread mostly. There was other stuff, but with brown beans who needs other stuff? Killed a nice fox squirrel while I was there. I'm going to have to get a few more to have a good meal. The wife LOVES squirrel gravy.

Back home in the afternoon and repaired a shaft on a walk behind trimmer and a few more odds and ends. Sweaty again. Ugh.

Yep, a real pain.
Checking the RA over this evening. Pulled the muffler. Piston, rings and cylinder look good. Spark you could weld with.
Wondering if this the correct color. Kinda yellowish, but underneath looks like a cream color. If it's a repaint, it's been taken all the way down to be redone. Can't see the average guy doing that, though. Just us fanatics. Think I've got some diaphrams here somewhere. Ill take the carb off and clean it out before proceeding further. :)

Looking this Dolmar over, pulled the top cover off to to see things. Like carb limiters and such. Looks like it has an epoxy like stuff covering the adjustment screws. Has holes in the cover for high and low adjustments but what to do about this type of blockage? Can this stuff be drilled out? Or will that foul things up? Strange territory hear.

Did you notice how that RA is constructed. Main body is two aluminum castings welded together. Stout but heavy.
Alice has a dent in right butt cheek that would have killed a modern saw.

The cutlass, I hope it works out
Tired of talking to people from Craigslist
Still got car parts but they don't take up
The room a car does
Ran the 2159 with a loop of tri-link

A guy has a supercharged front
Engine dragster at the shop
I told them I would make a pass or two
In it, but I'm checking the axle assembly
Good your testicles set right against it
