Good morning everyone! Last night's day till the storm it's on Sunday! Right on the 4 to 7 inch line I hope Wayne snowblower trick works!

Guess I need to load up the sleds and head south to ride as we don’t have any snow here. We had some good rain yesterday

Good morning!
Assembling a solid state coil for a Canadian Homelite. It was firing off of the start leg only so basically 20° retarded from where it was supposed to run. It would run (kinda) as long as you showered enough fuel into the carb so there was a little left from pumping most of it out of the muffler on it's way to the next firing pulse.

You are building a coil? Or modifying one?

She's a runner. Runs fairly good for a 41cc saw. It's amazing how vibration-free it is.

Saturday shenanigans at Clinton State Park. A bike ride is an expedition for us, but well worth the prep time getting ready. His Primacy got officially worn out, rewarding us with a nap in the van. The Queen is in Target while I have watch duty in the parking lot.

Evening all! I hope all of you had a good Thanksgiving!

I finally got to go back and mostly finish a Read Oak that I started awhile back, which was blown over into a creek. With the help of Dad and some friends, and a gas 3020 and new 1-series mini Deere tractors, we got a lot out. Also removed a nice White Oak. 3 3/4 dump loads full and I have a lot of noodling and splitting to do. I'll snap a picture in the light of what's on the ground here now, but ran out of daylight yesterday and was gone all day today at the M.I.L's.

In the first Pic, I'm running the 3020, while my friend who owns both tractors took it and was on the smaller Deere.

In this one, I'm stradding the tree about to make a cut, while another friend was behind me after handing me the saw. A few parts got a bit sketchy, but we got'er done with no injuries and no equipment mishaps, thank the Lord!!

I still need to return for the trunk and try to get the barkless snag in the picture above out of the drink as well. Just out of frame, to the left, if a concrete dam. The owner doesn't want it getting washed out...

Bet it didn’t even take 2 hours..

But then there was some bullshitting time, but still quite efficient..
We got there at 1:00.
Finished the load at 2:15.
Always like watching a man that knows his machine. I learned a few things watching Matt to make me and my machine more efficient. Wish I had a loader on mine, though.
A good 30 minutes of BSing involved.
Always a good time.
:)

Auctioned today and got the vice I have wanted for a long while but couldn't justify the cost til I made the winning bidIMG_20181124_164522.jpg several more items lower and a couple higher price but a good take. The woman had no use for the tools or fishing gear.
Nother closer Friday, property sold everything must go! Famous ending quote " too many other items to list" Will see what surprising stuff is there
