Got some lumber today to build a storage shed on a corner of my deck. Found out I have to get a permit to build this shed.
I'm no longer building it .
I'm building a storage bin instead .

Good call..

Can’t have those sheds running amuck.

Bins with doors are much more neighborhood friendly. Lol..

Permit is probably as much as the shed.

Living in town is a b...................
61° great sleeping temps woodn't sleep with doors open in town ^^^^ previous owner left a single wide frame that they couldn't get to the scrap yard. Has potential for placing a structure above occasional creek overflow

What about the shed makes you need a permit? Are you running electricity to it? Or do you need a permit to build any structure?

Permit is probably as much as the shed.

Seriously? If so, wow...

Good question.
In Topeka if it's under 12x15 you are good to go. No problems unless you live in one of them fancy goods with a HOA.
