Had a teacher in Votech that could shoot a coyote silhouette at 250 yards with a Ruger 44 mag. He also killed a deer at 800 yards with a 308. Open sights.
That's pretty impressive. My son has a real good shooting eye, too. Me, not so much. He out shoots me every time we shoot together. Little punk.

Anybody interested in a Huskee 22 ton splitter? A friend called me and wants to sell his. Last I remember it was in very good condition; and elderly man who split a few rick a year for himself.

I thought it was something for a Howitzer.
:risas3:
I think they were the most re-sold guns next to the desert eagle 50AE there ever was..

Awesome in theory, just not used much.
And abusive..
The 50AE tossed hot brass at your forehead.
Lol

May be why they went the 460S&W route.

Does this throttle rod look right?

Darn thing hangs up and won’t return to idle. Like the rod is too long or not bent right.

Pussycat to shoot, but really useless when you think about it..
Not reasonable to hunt with, too big for CC, and the last thing you'd want to use in your home without special rounds.. Unless we are invaded by ultra intelligent and well armed wild boars.
But like chainsaws, pick what ya like and roll with it.

Especially in July and August; one of those things that make you bounce the grease gun, toss the 480z ball peen hammer across the shop, or speak a new language for a few minutes. I am getting wound up just thinking about it.

May be why they went the 460S&W route.

My Mom's husband has the S&W 460XVR with the 8" barrel. It's a lot of fun to shoot. It'll shoot .460 S&W, .454 Casull, and .45 Colt. The fireballs that it makes shooting .460 are way more than impressive. The recoil anticipation when switching from .460 to .45 Colt is pretty comical to watch from the sidelines.
