For now I decided to put it together as it is and keep it in the display. If I can find a good source for those seals I will acquire a few and get this saw back into working order. For now, it looks pretty good. We pulled that John Deere label off the damaged AF cover and put it on this one that came off the saw that donated the piston and cylinder for this project.

-PTO Side Seal for saws with the auto oiler drivecase with the fill up by the handlebar bracket: 58308B.07021.
The 58308 seal is getting difficult to find but quite a few on the Homelite forum (Leon's) are using
