My Dad had a XL and the same color. I do remember the manual oiler. Very nice saws.My XP 1000 with a pair scheme I can live with.

That looks exactly like my Dad's saw. I remember the shiny handle. What "cc" are those engines?I'll add mine to the thread.

The Homelite Super XL is said to be a 58.2 CC engine. 1.8125 bore and 1.375 stroke.That looks exactly like my Dad's saw. I remember the shiny handle. What "cc" are those engines?

Nice saws, brings back memories. First saw I cut with was a Homelite, grew up using them and Macs.I have a few, some re-branded.
