I also found a shaft lying next to the muffler on the table and I don't know where it ended up under the starter housing
I hope this isn't part 10 😉

After a little over a year of looking all over, finally have a good supply of new old stock homelite bars for my CS 900 EVL. No thanks to those goofy light-weight bars on an old muscle saw. Love those old solid bars!

Oregon 32" 3/8 .050
Windsor 30" 3/8 .050
GB 30" 3/8 .050

The old Windsor bars a actually a milled bar , there's quite a bit of difference in weight.

I tested it through a 2" thermo pipe and you can breathe with the filter, but I would suffocate with the black one 😉

I put a bandage on the bottom of the handle 😉 And a 6mm square to prevent it from falling out also got a thermo pipe

I suspect that it is an additional pre-filter that also seals the outer edge. Thanks to this, the filter is as good as new
I found these black air filters and they are from a different model

This is an XL123 but the 925 should have a similar button. Part number for the 925 is 63622.

A 26 LCS question
I got a replacement seal for the flywheel side and replaced it.
Did a pressure test and found pressure coming out of a hole in the crankcase near the belt case.
My parts saw doesn’t have the hole, but has a casting mark.
Is the hole supposed to be open to crankcase pressure?
Thanks

Just fixed this for a guy at work almost to nice to run but that’s his plan. One of his old timer neighbors gave it to him guess it’s the same as a 925xl engine wise. It’s old so is the larger 82cc vs 77cc after the switch but didn’t look if thin or thick rings. Rebuilt carb snd made new fuel lines with regular line and grommets thing runs mint.
