I enabled 2 step verification last week and while it worked, it was quite slow to send me a code to my email (I access the site via my desktop computer). Today, after waiting a few days for the website to come back online, I tried to login using 2 step but after waiting for 5 minutes to receive a code that never came, I had to use one of the backup codes. I don't have anything against 2 step verification, but if you can't send a code in a few seconds after a request, people are not going to bother with this site. As it is, I have disabled 2 step until it becomes user friendly.

Turned on 2x and changed my password to an auto-generated strong one, everything seems to function o-tay.

This is due to the fact that the database, restored from backup, had a corrupted table in it. I had to delete a lot, to rid the errors.

...and thrown in the back of the pickup truck where it remained until the saw shop opened. Just lucky they had parts on hand.

Don't panic y'all. We're moving this thang to a whole new server right now, provided by the maker of the forum software, Xenforo. We'll hopefully be back in service in 3 hours. No posting until then.
