I recently spoke with a few friends from this site and other acquaintances who live outside of Alabama.
They expressed an interest in coming this way to stock up on firewood for the winter.
I routinely see Red Oak, Hack-berry, Elm, Maple, and Pin Oak pushed into burn piles.
If I so desired, had the back or time, storage space could accumulate 70 - 80 cords plus a year!
Others spoke about bringing an online awareness to help out the less fortunate nation wide.
So bearing all the above conversations in mind, I thought I would start a thread revolving around, "Free Wood/Trees" in you neighborhood or general area.
So if you're setting decent on wood, how about posting some pics/ads that may help another fellow or family out? You could also post on Church & Work Bulletin boards or forward to those in need.
