How do you guys like to go about setup for rakers on an Oregon grinder? I feel as though there is too much play in the grinder arm and stopper to be precise with raker depth, so I’ve just resorted to hand filing rakers with my WCS progressive depth gauge.

Just learn how to finesse the thing. It just takes some practice.
I’ll never go back to hand filing rakers except for doing the first 2 on the chain with the progressive gauge before grinding.

I setup my Super Jolly for rakers. I essentially use my WCS progressive gauge to set the depth with my grinder. Grind a little, check it, and adjust the stop after. Just like everything with these grinders there's sloppy movement. Just get the feel for it and try to be consistent.
