I think I was able to figure out how to make my universal intake duct work too and have a place for the required intake air temp sensor to be near the throttle body.

Just need to fab up a bracket to support the long duct and I believe I'll be good to go.

1 of the reverse lights burnt out on my Silverado 2 weeks back, I just replaced both with LEDs.

A bulb is way cheaper..
Plus the led's will flash fast, like when you have a bulb out due to the resistance difference between them and a regular bulb.

I had to pull the radiator out for room to install the power steering pulley.
The belt that I guessed on will just slip on without touching the tensioner, so I'll need just a bit shorter..

Turns out a 3rd gen Camaro LS1 lower radiator hose would fit perfect. Except the hose is smaller at the radiator end than the pump end and my radiator is the same size. I'll see what I can cook up without using adapters.

Got some rivet nuts in the frame for the intake duct bracket, so that's something done at least.

The n.o.s. piston, cylinder, rings, and cylinder gaskets for my Yamaha have been sitting around for a wee bit and I got tired of seeing the bike torn apart collecting cat hair in a far corner of the shop so I decided to do something about it today. 3-4 hours of work later and it's now back together! I replaced the dish towel and duct tape seat cover with a new repop cover today as well so it looks pretty decent in my opinion. It's going to need a bit of carb work and a fork rebuild before it's ready for action but I'll get a neighbor who's a Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki certified mechanic to help with that stuff.

I got the radiator hose situation figured out.
20250118_101004.jpg

A Camaro lower hose would have fit perfect except my radiator has the same size fitting as the pump and an oem one is smaller. I really didn't want to put adapters in there. I tried another hose that was suggested to me in this thread and by trimming off about 3" on 1 end, it fits.

I'm going to have to make my own power steering hoses. Adapters, fittings and hose should arrive this week.

Thinking the water pump needs replacing on my truck. The coolant in my dad's Colorado turned to a slushie the other day.

The steering column to firewall bracket on my Chevelle had a few holes in it and I'm not sure why. I don't recall if I ordered it that way or what.
I may have because at one point the plan was a 6 speed manual for the car...

Well, it doesn't need those holes, so I filled them in.
20250201_134245.jpg20250201_134416.jpg20250201_134850.jpg20250201_135705.jpg20250201_141141.jpg

Paint will hide the imperfections..

Trans cooler hoses and fittings are ordered along with some exhaust pipe. I decided on what mufflers I'm wanting as well..

Once the steering column bracket is in I can work on the accelerator pedal and I need to drill a big asš hole in the firewall for my pass-through for the Holley terminator wiring harnesses. It's a big hole and I'm quite apprehensive on doing it.

I removed the terminals from the throttle body connector so I could get it through a universal grommet to utilize a hole already in the firewall for the drive by wire harness.

Other than that just pretty much stared at the car for a while trying to decide what route to go on a few things.
Exhaust pipe should show up tomorrow and the Painless wiring harness should be here later this week.
