Might as well piggyback my other project car, I had since high school. '73 Nova SS Hatchback. Boy that car got me in trouble so many times, but man it was fun.

Wrecked it 20+ years ago and then it sat until 2 years ago. We stripped it sent it media blast and primed it.

Going for a full Resto-mod. if it ever makes it out "bodyshop pergatory" (my brother's shop)

First pick is the day after I wrecked it.

I got sidetracked from my sidetrack today and wound up helping my brother pull the bed and rear bumper off the 4x4 donor truck. Plan is to strip the donor body and pull/reseal the engine, trans, tcase, and axles.

I finally mustered up the courage to drill a big hole through the firewall

Needed to do some modification to get the Painless Wiring harness fuse block and bulkhead pass through mounted

Just need to paint it and bolt it up

And working on getting the accelerator pedal mounted without drilling extra holes through the firewall

She sounds pretty healthy. It’s such a good feeling when they breathe to life the first time. (Especially when you’re not running for the staydry. Lol)

I've got a small leak at the power steering pressure hose. I tightened it, if it keeps leaking I'll take the fitting apart and see if I boogered it.

Going to measure for mufflers tomorrow then get the transmission back out to overhaul and work on wiring in the meantime.

The battery out of my camper was too weak to spin it fast enough so I had to improvise a bit...
