Been working on my dad’s 52 for the past three evenings, bled the brakes, had to work on the fuel system and the ignition to get her working! Also had a stuck thermostat. Lots of trips to the parts store! But now she’s running stopping and cooling just fine! Purrs like a kitten surprisingly! LOL and my dad is super stoked, got to drive it down the road, he wasn’t sure if that was ever going to happen again! Not that I'd do it to that origional, (numbers matching?), '52.... butt I can envision an old school tunnel rammed, 392 Hemi, skinnys in the front, with slicks, ladder and wheelie bars in the rear. don't forget the 5spd Doug Nash stick.:D

I agree. 105hp.
If I recall correctly they were noted to loose timing chains and camshafts?
Worked on a few in the late 80s an early 90s. Regular maintenance was easy though. lotsa room.

Are you gonna get those lower-travel shocks as well? I know those were popular on the mini-trucks when guys were dropping those.
I don’t need to with the way I went. I did drop spindles up front and used shock extenders in back. I put some decent shocks on when I first got it. Ya drop shocks were the thing back in the day

Details are withheld to protect the guilty, but there was an incident involving the grey "69" Highboy (after the bed was removed) and an oak while trucks/beds were being shuffled. A torch, a porta-power, and a hammer fixed the oopsie, and the guy the bed came from had a chunk of a F350 frame that will donate the springs (for an unrelated reason) and a crossmember to complete the fix.IMG_7479.jpeg IMG_7493.jpeg IMG_7511.jpeg IMG_7512.jpeg IMG_7515.jpeg

79 Cutlass Supreme. 3.8 v6
At first I did think it was a Cutlass then thought better of it after a 2nd look.
I hated those 3.8s. Probably where the term Gutless Cutlass was born.
My mother had a Cutlass Supreme the same exact brown…had that damn diesel in it. Wouldn’t get outta its own way to save its’ life!
