Once. I think it was around a 70 model. As basic as could be. It took forever to figure out how to flip the front seat to get to the back seat. What is wrong with you guys? Must have never worked on a FIAT!!!
That's the only way to go for me....lolnice to see 3 pedals in yer maverick
Yep, love flippin gears!!I'm a diehard stir it yourself kind of guy!
I had a Grabber back in the day. Loved that car.I just stumbled across this thread, some great lookn toys yinz got!
Here's my stress-buster. 1971 Maverick Grabber, I bought it around 9 years ago with 54k on the ticker. Southern car (built in the Kentucky plant), no rust or rot, painted as it looked originally (but in my favorite color "Calypso Coral"). View attachment 373352

Ended up blowing a head gasket in it yesterday afternoon when I was out joy ridin......lol
My first car was a 1974 Comet (Mercurys version of rhe Maverick) that I totally rebuilt into a GT clone after saving up every penny I made for several years when I was 18 back around 1991-92. I learned alot about engines, transmissions and such in those years.I had a Grabber back in the day. Loved that car.
I'd argue the 55-59 Chev's, the 70's Ford's and the O.G. Power Wagon are much better from a visual standpoint.Best lookin truck ever. Even if @Czed says they’re junk.
I told myself all I wanted to get done over the weekend was swapping the battery cables on the Dodge and (for once) I actually got it done. I don't know if it fixed the electrical stuff but the truck stayed running and after a bit of hesitation the tranny even engaged. That allowed me to take it over to my brother's yard so he could unload a pallet of Mustang parts and I'm stashing it there until I have a rebuilt tranny ready to ram into it.

When I placed the order for the reman tranny today the guy asked for make/model and the mileage, I said it was "a 98 Ram 2500 with 298,800 miles."Best lookin truck ever. Even if @Czed says they’re junk.
Come get this ‘58 GMC with factory Pontiac V8 then ;-)I'd argue the 55-59 Chev's, the 70's Ford's and the O.G. Power Wagon are much better from a visual standpoint.

....."Throw. The car. Away."
Yeah my ‘11 is a nice new truck to me…Hell, that's middle age by my standards. My daily driver '98 Mazda has 350k on the ticker.
2000 Pontiac Sunfire that has 285K + one rolloverHell, that's middle age by my standards. My daily driver '98 Mazda has 350k on the ticker.
