Welp, this point here has about 18 hours of my time to get these photos.

Prolly wouldda taken most grease monkeys alot less time to get this corner aligned, but for me, it took what it took, and it looks decent enough now.

it looks good. Sometimes the panels were not lined up that good right out of the factory.

So any fellow grease monkeys point me in the right direction here?

Need to sell a set of New 20/21 Jeep gladiator take off rims. 17" alloy 5x5 pattern and still have the tpms intact.

Called around and was told $175-250 a wheel (no tpms or valve stem included) if I tried to buy a used wheel.

What would a fair asking price be? I tossed them up for $425 for the set. But I have no clue what is reasonable for them. Don't want to be out of line but need to recoup some $.....

i believe you can find them on the net through jeep what they would actually list for a dealer then I’d base price from there. Or try cl and see what they are listed for and use that

Must not be much call for take off wheels anymore. Down to $225 for the set and not a single call.

I'd think the market would be flooded with stock jeep parts especially wheels. At my shop if a new set of aftermarket wheels arrives 90% of the time it's for a new jeep.

I'm finding this out. Wish it was like that back when I had my xj years ago.

Won't get hurt on these wheels. Bought them with tires for less than the tires alone. So whatever the rims bring is cool with me. Even if it's scrap weight.

Just trying my best to offset some spending. I think I am single handily keeping the economy going in my area.

Bigmac, what year is your K5? My brother has a 1969 K5 and I love that body style Chevrolet.
It’s a 72, 69’s are pretty rare! I was driving mine today, well I drove the 68-72-81 and 03, I f’ed up and my battery moves and I lost my msd box in the blazer. Had thrown a fresh battery in it to move it around…and then went for a drive; and crossing railroad tracks I bounced. China made msd boxew have gone way up in price! Was an expensive half mile! Lol but she is up and driving again

You’re doing an amazing job Kevin. I sure hope you get the honor of sacrificing the first set tires when that project hits the road
Thank you Sir !!
I’ll definitely “rub off” the stickers for sure, but I’m trying to convince her to run a 9x15 rim ……. which means expensive sneakers ! The dang Detroit Locker is still on backorder. :(

Just have to purge and fully weld both rear pipes. The tips are pretty much dead nutz center in the valance cutouts.

That was a LOT of hours and a bazillion times getting up & down

Extremely nice work.
In younger days, I was too lazy for over the axle pipes. They rusted out every 2 years anyway. I would do side pipes or side exit in front of the rear tires.

I was perusing Craigslist tonight when I saw a listing for a pretty cool Jeep. When I was looking at it I noticed, it has a set of hubs in the front and rear! The guy doesn't say it's a rear-steer, wtf is going on with it? A clever gag maybe?

Manual locking hubs on the rear of off road vehicles are not new, and are possible, however I do not recall anything coming from the factory with them.

Off roaders unlock the front & rear hubs when they tow the vehicle to/from the area(s) they are 4 wheeling in
