Is the bed a 2 tank model?

Yes. The truck was originally dual tank but funds at the time of failure where short. Then never got around to repairing it because of the cost to benefit ratio was low for me. I have owned the truck for 7 years and this is the first time it has had two working fuel tanks at the same time. Purchasing most of the stuff from rock Auto this was still over $600 to hold an extra 18 gallons of fuel.

Had to make the rear fuel lines. Got a roll of nylon tube and a bunch of different fittings to make the feed and return lines. Turned out great and was pretty easy to do. Just have to be patient and not heat too much of the line at one time or you will kink it.

Nice job! glad to see you're going to add in a H pipe. I like a balanced exhaust.

Was having some heat soak and high intake air temp issues. I ditched the under hood insulation and the weather stripping that seals the back edge of the hood to the wiper cowl. I also removed the factory fake plastic hood louvers and installed as set of functional aluminum hood louvers. I got myself a working project. It actually runs pretty well. It drives mostly ok and kinda sorta stops but it will work just fine for my needs. The dump bed is pretty rough but it will be fine for a while. Eventually I will build a new flatbed for it and give the body a paint job to make it look less crappy.
