I did that with my brother once, it was after dark, I was bored and had a laser thermometer so I started "gunning" him. He ignored me, but the guy he was talking to stepped away from him and started looking for the guy with the rifle. I also "gunned" some delivery people at a nearby pizza place, but (fortunately?) none of them noticed.
