You guys know the old Indian trick you can use to save your saw in a situation like that right? Say you cut the hinge wood on the far side and the tree is coming over sideways, saw is pinched and certain to end up like the picture. You grab your starter handle, pull the cord all the way out and run to the side. There is a split second between when the tree leaves the stump and then kills your saw. It’s your window of exploitation. And you yank that sucker out of harms way.
