Just spotted another log or two laying in the ditch close to Pop's house.
Didn't have me trusty 026 or 261 with me.

Decided to burn some calories and get some exercise by fumbling with a few white oaks rounds.
Noodled, stacked, split some with the Fisker's, other with 8lb maul.
I'm about done dealing on the maul...kinda like the old Economics class, "The Law of Diminishing Returns!":cursing2::facepalm:
This stuff is another level of hard and heavy!:mad:
BTW...Share some of your White Oak experiences with me.
That's going to be about 85% of my wood stash for a couple of yrs looks like.

White oak is top notch farwood! Seasons for me in at least two years, preferably 3. I get that whiskey barrel smell from it. Brisket tastes great smoked on white or red.
