Do you guys cover your stacked wood during the winter/ rainy seasons?
Here's some pics from a couple minutes ago. Three rows 40ft long uncovered, four rows 8ft long uncovered, and two 16ft rows by my campfire that are always covered.

Cut up some stuff that’s been in my way for a while now. I sure do like using the lawnmower as a bucking station.

Everything that’s not split got cut up this afternoon. All my moving parts are sore now 🥴

The kiddos were carving pumpkins this afternoon so I decided I’d join in the fun.

I think one or two more pumpkins and I’ll be ready to start cranking out eagles and bears and stuff lol

I got a little this morning. My son came out to help me out. We got 7 dead oak wilt trees dropped and blocked up. I have mentioned that there are rocks everywhere on this property! Well my son rocked out a chain. The rocks that are level with the ground and covered in moss and debris are the ones that get you. I used my newest scarr 572XP and my oldest scarr 550xpg. My son ran my XS 550xpg, my XS 400c and my Stump Shot 572XP.

I got a little this morning. Five dead standing oak wilt trees. Pretty easy this morning, three of the tree tops were so dried up that they shattered when the trees hit the ground. I used my scarr 4350, my XS 550xpg, and my XS 400c. I blocked everything at 26" for a owb.

Finally got the trees from May noodled and split up. Only got a few rounds left. We got about 3 inches of rain over the weekend, so it wasn't splitting worth a crap. Only got a little over 5 cords processed this year, which is the last picture of stacked wood.

I got a little this morning. I went out to block up the rest of the trees that I dropped yesterday. Unfortunately I uprooted a live tree while dropping one of the trees. I had at least 8 cuts over rocks, but didn't rock out. I took a picture of one of the rocks. I used my scarr 4350, my oldest scarr 572XP and my XS 400c. I blocked everything at 26" for a owb.
