Hate dealing with rotted wood. Have a lot of silver maple that's been sitting a bit too long. Wasted energy that puts me in a bad mood.

If you're a contractor you have to take the job as it comes; should have upped my per hour price as no one else was going to do it. Also in a fenced in area with dogs/dog crap. Which would be ok if it was below freezing but it has been wet this week.

Is your 550 a MK1 or MK2? Liking my MK2 very much so far.
It's a MK2 . I also love the mk2s . The one I used today was ported by scarr . I have a second mk2 that was ported by Kevin . The area I'm cutting on has a lot of 6''-10'' blow over trees . Tomorrow morning I'll probably bring both the 550mk2s out along with a 592xp .

I saw a lot

There was a raffle a while back, one of the prizes was a port job from Kevin that I was hoping to be lucky enough to win. Still a great saw plus I got the 550XPG with heated handles. Running the 18" 325 .050 but also got the 3/8" rim and a 20" bar for it, but haven't used yet.

I cut up this White Oak blow over with my xs 550xp this morning . Like normal I cut them up to 26" for a boiler . I had a pretty easy morning , I brought my 24 year old son with me and made him carry out all the wood to the trail .

Next to the White Oak was a Red Oak blow over . I blocked it up with my scarr 592xp . The nice thing about this tree was we didn't have to carry the wood out to the trail . We were able to roll them down the hill to the trail .

Got some of my last haul split up and noodled and ready to be stacked/burned. The pile by the stacked stuff needs seasoned and the pile by itself is ready to go. It was a beautiful day to split/noodle some wood and haul off all the trash.

Plus a picture of my 12 year old noodle stump. That thing just won't give up. Lol
