I like the sound. It is kind of unique.
Very cool build.

Kind of acts like it wants another deflector on the other side of the muffler. Dual port...

Well you know a guy who makes deflectors. He’d probably give you a good dealAlmost a little too quiet. Sound is definitely a bit different.

Maybe next year. Or the one after. Or after etc....I think you need to put that fine machine in the holiday giving thread Joe. It's just gonna clutter up your workbench. I'll take it![emoji41]

I bet they do laugh a bit. I'm sure yamabiko has something prototyped, as the current offerings above the 590-620 haven't changed much in the last 30 years.I'm sure Stihl and husqvarna get an occasional laugh when they see someone spend so much time and money modifying on a saw when a size upgrade is available. That's not the case with echo or Shindaiwa. Hopefully they get jealous of this and hit the drawing board.

If I can get the 52mm deal worked out. That would almost match the cs800 (largest current us echo) displacement but be 4+lbs lighter... sounds like a plan lol.

You call it porting I call it exercise. Wait, wrong thread. I’m grabbing a cheeseburger and a grinderImproved power to weight is the appeal of porting.
