Likely because there were 044, 440, 460 and 461 all in the same batch. They are all 1128

Based on my experience with a 7310, it must have a limit higher than 14K. I found that out before I figured out how to rid the carb of the limiter tabs so I could add some fuel to the high jet.

I've never cared for rpm-limited coils in any saw. Nor have I been a fan of any type of governor on carburetors. They oftentimes hinder the ease of tuning a ported saw.

Many Echo coils retard the timing after reaching a certain preset RPM (CS-600 is a good example--they sound almost like they have a mechanical governor: they will over-rev a little and then pull down). Not many are limited in that they cut the spark. The 2511's are about the only that I can think of. The ones that retard the timing are easy enough to tune by ear even when ported.
