I have the old school stickers on my saws and I like the look of them.
I would have bought them in a heartbeat!



I got OEM replacement stickers and they are the new plastic style, still look nice though.

Aside from some minor changes throughout the years almost all parts are interchangeable among the entire Dolmar & Makita 64xx/73xx/79xx saw family!

Parts that won't fit on "any" saw build are superseded part numbers with some changes made to the parts itself.
As an example:
- cylinder cover, introduction of the DeCo and changes in the DeCo valve hole position
- clutch drum needle cage bearings , switched from open to closed outer cage and changed outer diameter, but will fit if one purchases a new drum & bearing set

Also, the A/V limiter for the front handle spring is a direct bolt on on my 2003. built PS-7900, but it doesn't fit on my 2001. built PS-6400 - it can easily be fitted though, requires some grinding on either the cylinder fins or rather on the limiter itself.
