Ive never used one. Does it cut down on chatter and walk in transfers?
Ya know when you just can't get the small edges of some opposing ports symmetrical? Mostly the tips of the upper transfers?

It helps a lot to get the same contour. I do it as the last step before chamfering.

I'm not sure it was worth the $30 I paid for it, but its pretty high quality.

Before I got it, I just couldn't get the tips of my intake side uppers the same. One was always pointier than the other.

I thought about buying a reversible motor and left handed bits. I can't see it worth the investment for myself. I'm still on the cheap harbor freight motor anyway.

I bought the kit that came with the bidirectional motor, so I was halfway there already.

Chatter about the same. Very annoying Keith.
I know the angle and direction u hold the handpiece makes all the difference in walk and chatter. I think it was Randy who told me in the transfer to start on the left side and cut to mark then follow straight across to the right side. That works for me. I go just shy of my mark then switch off th sanding drums at usually 120 grit to finish and maybe alil with a 240 but I like to leavem alil rough

Randy and I chatted about this saw and both felt the Golf I bought wasnt the best option. I had a Meteor 395 shipped to him so he could cut the jug accordingly.

This is why the jug needs dropped so much. This is the Golf.image.jpeg
And this is the Meteor.image.jpeg
