I recently purchased a Tecomec Jolly Star. I upgraded from a Harbor Freight.

I have read every post in this thread. I have learned a lot!. The Jolly Star is such a step up from the Harbor Freight. The saws are all cutting like new or better, and I have gullets back in the cutters.

Does the diameter of the wheel make much difference? Everything the same size except diameter.

Rim speed (circumference) will vary with wheel diameter.

But most grinders are intended for use with certain size wheels: 4-1/4”, 5-3/4”, 8”, etc.

Same RPMs.
