On the diamond wheel website they say they send the wheel with a cleaning stick to use periodically. What does that look like?

Little white sticks. Have not used one yet. Even come with diamond wheels.

To any of you guys with CBN wheels, how often do you use the "dressing" stick.... in the directions they dont give an excact number of chains, they just say when you start to notice a burr or the wheel not cutting as good to dress it...

Also they say to flip the wheel every 20-30 chains....

What do you guys that own CBN wheels do???

Well guys with the holidays and hanging 2-new entry doors at my house, I haven't been able to work on any saws, grind chain, or cut wood lately.....It's about to make me go crazy!!!!!

I am off 4-days in a row starting Saturday, so I will be back at it...also finally scored a red-lever 026!!!

These are both my 026s now... thenone on the left runs(red-lever), and the one on the right needs TLC!!!

Hey thanks!!!

Yes, they packaged this wheel very nicely....it came with the white dressing stick, and some directions, I will take a pic of the directions if I remember next time I in the garage....

I do remember it saying to flip the wheel every 20-30 chains to ensure equal wear(if you can call it wear), and to use the stick to clean the wheel eventually(if ever needed!!!)

Is the wheel you have from diamond wheel brand?????

yes, I was looking for away to get them off the stands. Mounted them to the wall.
Good deal, if/when you get a chance I would like to see your round ground chain from that grinder.....I know that your square ground chains looks mean as hell!!!!!!

From which one? I use grinding wheels, most of the chains I get in are pretty dirty. I find it easier to just dress the wheel to clean it up.
I have talked to some of the shops around, I'm getting different opinions on the cbn wheels. However, I am keeping a eye on your post.
