I see, I bet that's stuff is a pain to sharpen/grind too.....The angles to sharpen a carbide chain on a grinder are a bit different. Top plate angle is almost 70 degrees. Doesn't cut as fast but stays sharp longer. Rocks and concrete will damage a carbide chain. But you can cut dirt.
I do know hitting metal sucks, no worse feeling than having to grind new cutters almost half way back!!!!
