Let's say a guy is busy and doesn't want to clean his chains....as long as he sprays off the CBN wheel, will it get it back to normal????
The cbn at Diamond Wheels have never been on sale. Always $106 I think. Break the piggy bank or keep using what you have been. The cutters you pictured looked great.Hell good question.... if they are please someone let me know!!!
Ok thank ya sir!!!!Yes.
It will still cut but, burn the tooth easier when dirty.
Ya I pretty much have myself talked into one, just need to narrow down which brand I will get.....I haven't switched to the CBN wheels for my round grinder yet, but seriously considering it after reading this thread. Have you guys tried using one of these erasure bricks for cleaning your wheels pink or CBN before?

Do you like the CBN wheel from them.... have you done a lot of chains with yours....Only used Diamond wheel brand. CBN and diamond coated. Tried to have them make a prosharp wheel but they did not seem interested or understood what I wanted.
Yes I have heard people say it takes a lot to burn a cutter with them, which is a huge help on bad chains!!!!I got both small and big cbn. Unreal how much you can hog out if the chain is rocked. The cutter never gets smoked either. Let alone, from tooth to tooth you keep the same wheel shape, never any wear like pink.
Sounds like a good idea to go over a real bad chain once with the pink wheel, then do final pass with the CBN wheel...Yes Diamond Wheel. 4 or 5 years. If I have a really junked chain, I'll use pink wheel. I only do my own a couple friends.

Done a bunch for a home owner. But nothing near like a saw shop. Loving the 620 hydraulic assist on new grinder. Way faster than 511ax on long chains. Don't know if Diamond Wheel makes different grits for chainsaw wheels. I feel you don't need a different grit.
Those rubber sticks are for cleaning sawdust, etc., out of abrasive belts or discs (sandpaper), which tend to get filled up over time. They don't 'sharpen' the abrasive.Have you guys tried using one of these erasure bricks for cleaning your wheels pink or CBN before?
You are overthinking this.Sounds like a good idea to go over a real bad chain once with the pink wheel, then do final pass with the CBN wheel...
