I square filed some semi chisel once, it was really weird looking when done. I was not sure it would even cut but it did & quite well. No pointy triangular corner as semi curves around but as stupid as this chain looked it cut really well.

I did that on LP back in the race days once when we couldnt get PS chain like now days.

It was faster but grabby as all get out. Knocked about 6 seconds off in a longer cut if I remember right.

how do you even get it any more? ive only seen it once...it was on a jerry gringas' hot saw built by mr. cahoon...filed by mr. cahoon. jerry was nice enough to let me eyeball it. wicked chain for sure.

It's a bad pic...but here is hi tooth compared to conventional 404 chain...takes alot of horsepower to take full advantage of it
