Plans on hold at the moment.
Too many unknowns at the moment.
We’ve been out there a couple times scouting...
Sharpness cannot be created or destroyed: only changed from one state to another. (Law of the conservation of sharpness). Why is it when my blade gets dull the blade guide gets real sharp and cuts my fingers when i put the blade on after it jumps off?

For example, the sharp edge of your blade guide changes to a sharp pain in your finger . . .

Thought about this post for a few Kevin. I appreciate the decency you have in posting it. Not trying to hash it all up again but tolerance seems to be at an all time low. We are all brothers like it or not.I met spacebus on AS a few years ago. He bought a used 346 on eBay and it ended up being scored. He sent it to me and I cleaned the cylinder up and ported it and installed a new piston.
I believe he came here a couple months ago just looking for something different than AS. No need to hang a noob just because his opinion is different than ours. Hell, I’ve never thought about it like that, but he makes a good point. We *b-word about how the younger generations don’t take responsibility for anything, but we aren’t taking responsibility for them either.
I think about this everytime i talk to someone here or in person. Ya never know.Thought about this post for a few Kevin. I appreciate the decency you have in posting it. It was my fault...and I own it. I got a little sideways with the young man...instead of showing patience, and backing out. Every man got his own opinion...and wasn’t no sense in me jumping the gun and coming down on him.I've thought about it a lot too.
Kevin is right....as are you.
I appreciate you both for posting up.

him blaming the older generation is *B-S....I didn't like him blaming his parents for his shortcomings. But I can ignore him.
I can recall when all the shop classes(metals, wood, auto and print) in high school were remodeled and all the equipment sold to make room for more computer classes. We couldn't even have a calculator when I was in school let alone a computer, which was supposed to be the future for everyone, though there were not the jobs available for such a claim. Even went as far as to quit teaching cursive writing as it was deemed unnecessary.
It's been 35 years or more since the Boy Scout building has been occupied by scouts. Then both parents had careers instead of just one. So I can see where there is enough crack for kids to slip through.
Today there's a mass exodus of city folk heading for the country, so you all better get used to people that not only don't know the lingo, need help figuring out what's normal day to day for others.
I can understand the lack of lingo knowledge but the thing that gets me about all of it is people not being an informed consumer. If you're dropping good money on something in life you owe yourself the peice of mind on what you're spending money on.
