A 390 is no where near what at 661 is and is just as heavy and feels like a slinky,661 and a 395 stock are close.

You've never ran a 385/390 that was ported very well then! Unless the 661's run a lot better than when they came out they aren't nearly as impressive as you say. I remember a couple at the Iowa Gtg 2 years a go and Matt's 064 made them look silly!

Ive ran a few 661s that pulled and had great torque. My buddy Laslab just got a 661 that we can compare my 390 to

Ive ran Matt's 064,it's a strong saw
The 661 is a strong saw also.
Stock for stock it's not even close.

I dunno too much how mine bucks with 3/8 in smaller wood as I keep a 28" 404 on it for noodling. Love it!
