I was hesitant to even ask this. But I have several bottles for the sled and I like it however i wasnt sure how it would do in these small engines. I am getting ready to fill a few gas cans with mix and thinking of using this since its good oil and like I said i already have several bottles laying around. So will this be fine to run in the saws? Anyone been running it in there saws?

Saber and dominator both worked good for me. Kind of pricey though imo.

Thank you for the help. I figured its got to be better than the stihl ultra i have been using and i have several bottles of the dominator oil so i will give it a try at 40 to 1 with fresh non ethanol.

Im curious about the pricey part mason. Maybe its cheaper here, i get it for a little less than $10 a quart shipped to my house. Seems like thats very typical for good synthetic oil.
Edit: saber i mean, not familiar with what they get for dominator

Not trying to start an oil thread just wondering specifically about this oil. is anyone running this oil in there saws?
FOOK NO!

Used to run it in my 250r. When I tore it down to install the Eddie Sanders 350 big bore, I couldn't believe the surface corrosion on all of the non-aluminum engine internals. It was last run about 2 months or so before tear down and kept in my garage. You couldn't pay me to run that crap in anything I own ever again! Shouldn't have to "after run" a friggin gasoline two-stroke engine.

I'd advise you switch oil for your sleds too.

Yeah thats gettin up there. I think its pretty regional. Amsoil is from wisconsin i think? Or MN i forget, but seems more popular in midwest for that reason. The napa near me sells saber for just over $10 a quart, i get it from a friend who is a dealer.

I run it all of the time and don't have any problems yet nock on wood. That's all I have run for two years now. I was having issues before so I switched.

I’ve ran it for years in everything from dirt bikes, big modified sled engines to my saws. I’ve never had an issue with it ever. Every time an engine has been brought down for rebuild it can be found laying everywhere it should be. Good oil.
