For how cheap they are, they can be pretty cool little saws. Swap out the intake boot with at lease a hyway viton and if your knowledgeable enough mod a 1128 series Carburetor to run it. I've had luck with the hilic "hd14" if you want to keep it as a complete aftermarket saw and on the cheap. The damn Muffler is a killer though. Gotta open that up for sure.
Those mufflers sure are a pain in the butt to mod aren't they?
The cheapest china ms361 muffler on Amazon doesn't have the same internals as an OEM or FT 361....It has a baffle of sorts but could be dremeled out without having to open the seams and split the muffler in half.

AvE did a video on a chinese chainsaw, his videos are informative and sometimes hilarious.

The JonCutter version of the tiny saw is out. Somebody buy one and test. And report on tariff issues.

So tempting the 2511T copy is. I have a pair of the "Joncutter" Zenoah G2500 top handle copies. Both have been really good. Beat on hard and held up well. Oil pump issue with one, easy cheap fix though. Only issue so far.

Echo 2511T copy is tough though. Hard to match the original. I have one Echo CS2511T. 12" Tsumara bar, still 3/8"LP@.050" and WCS exhaust. Turns 12.5k easy, more RPM easily available. Running it easy for longevity. One of my favorite saws, used 3 or 4 times this week. Has more than a few hours on it. The ECHO 2511T is just such a little monster. Awesome really in it's class. It will be hard to come close to an equal.

That said I have a pair of the "Joncutter" 2511 clones in my shopping basket. One saw is $49 plus ~$60 slow shipped, two is $98 plus ~$80 shipped. So about ~$90 per saw. So tempting but still a "no-go" so far for me.

The little ECHO CS2511T is/has been so excellent so far it is hard to compare to. Just an awesome little light-weight screamer. I do not see a CN copy being comparable in this class really.

Don't get me wrong. I have a pair of Holzfforma clone 660's, one blue and one orange (happy so far for cost plus replacement parts), a G5800 Joncutter (55cc) also good and the two little G2500 top handles. Really like the little top handles,

The ECHO cs2511T is so good though, an awesome little screamer of a saw, I might have a hard time accepting a copy. It will have to be a really good copy even at 1/4 the cost.

Just my opinion. Parts available online for the ECHO easily and known quality of build from the start. The ECHO 2511T is that good, just an awesome little top handle in IMO

Keep us posted on your experience. I would really like to like see good results from this copy. I have been so impressed by the original I might be a little biased though(if you haven't noticed).
G2511 arrived! So far it seems fine. Have not run it yet.

Anyone watch Walt's video on the Farmertech 3120xp clone ?
I started to but I think it said it was 43 minutes long. I've watched a few of his vids but a lot of them are just too long for me. I like short to the point and on topic videos.

Another question: do you have a ECHO CS2511T to compare to? Are the parts a 1:1 match?

The current JonCutter 25cc top handle clones seem to be a match for the older Zenoah/RedMax 25cc top handle saws. Or at least so far in my limited experience.

Same for the "OG CN clone saw", the Stihl MS660/066. Parts are a direct swap, inter-changeable(if lower quality) with the original Stihl 066/MS660 saws made by Stihl.

Are the parts for the CS2511T inter-changeable with the original ECHO? Or are the parts different and more common to the current 25cc top handle CN saws?

What does your clone 2511T saw weight?

Really not bashing CN clones or the affordable parts giving use to old saws. I have used CN parts and saws, more than a few personally. I just like to see a cost vs value
