I know, I know in the past I have berated Stihl and China clones, without having owned them, just used some others have owned. Well that is over, purchased an MS400 ported and four Neotec saws 2-843, 1-6200, 1-6800 (gave 1-843 &6200) to a friend. Have to say all have held up and can supply pictures of what I have cut with them. That Stihl almost cuts as strong as my ported 372 (almost).
I couldn't tell you how many of my friends and family bought whatever
Tophandle,52/58/62cc echo or zenoah clones
On top of the original 365/372 clones we're all still running
I know of several 272 660 288 395 clones doing good logging and firewood operations they cut far more than I do.
I think the clone market is for people that do their own saw work
These guys mostly have carcasses to pull OEM parts from to keep the clones going.
If they need any tinkering at all they aren't for most people.
All 7 365/372 clones I bought at the beginning of this thread are still running
Lost a couple of coils and a *s-wordload of stop switches and fuel/impulse lines deteriorated quick
No real mechanical issues.

I still say the g288 is my favorite clone that I've run
It was just right out of the box
OEM power and feel I have several OEM 288s and without looking these feel OEM
The 365/372s are really square in the throttle area.

I bought this Chinesey gem March of 2023, Chainsaw. Was looking for the cheapest one I could find at the time, $74 flea bay special1000003730.jpg. Here she is. It got the usual pull cylinder and get running #'s and bore and stroke. It's 58cc. Was gonna base gasket delete, but piston hit. So made gasket and got it to .014" squish. Took deflector out of the muffler. Made sure everything was tight and right. I use it quite a bit as it's light and good power. Plus it rides in the bucket or wood wagon or on the wheeler. It's the second I have. Also have a Dereal, same thing but a little better plastics. This little gem had the ez pull and that got smashed when it fell out of bucket on tractor and bounced around under it and wood wagon. Bent handle. Straightened it at the time. Last weekend it finally broke! Been almost 2 years since it happened. On recoil #3. Second one exploded when pull handle slipped out of hand on a cold day and smashed it. Blew the corner where rope goes in out. Only thing it gets is a cleaning, bar chain maintenance and used. Easily 25-30 tanks thru it so far. Firewood and trail maintenance use. I cut 20-25 face cord a year for heat and have Husky's and Jonny's and Dolly's, but this seems to end up in my hands more! Definitely got my monies worth. Oh notice the factory1000003731.jpg triple port muffler! Lol!

My local saw shops are 120+ per hour just to diagnose saws
I've seen the zenoah clones as cheap as 58.00 shipped
If I don't have time to fix a saw I show people the clones and many have bought them
I'm liking the 2511 neotec clone
It runs good for what it is.

The triple port muffler actually flows worse than the 2 port. The single port is then one to start with for modding though since it’s the easiest to add a second port of the same size and have the most flow.

Lol! I don't really care if it does worse or what, I like it and it works fine. It's a cheap saw.

You were just showing it off like it was something. Does yours have dual or quad transfers? The quads are substantially better, like better out of the box than a ported dual transfer.
