And with shipping it’s getting pretty expensive $375 and you have to wait a month to 45 days or $415 to get it in a week or too
A lot of guy's are selling them on FB
But I don't know if they are reasonable though.

Bought another china sawIMG_20220324_181918368_HDR.jpgIMG_20220324_181551222_HDR.jpg this is the 4th one I've gotten
my friends pestered me for the other one's
These make good trading material IMG_20220324_171815639_HDR.jpg IMG_20220324_172341688_HDR.jpg
Oddly on all 4 of them the spike wasn't the correct one for these saws
So I releived the pocket to make them fit.
The base the spike sets on can be removed to get more bar length
It's just a bolt on.
The first one is on it's second bar
Cutting fence line for a farmer
No issues with any of them.
I did put a husky pull handle on this one to make it easier to start.

6 tanks so far no issues handy little saw IMG_20220406_181645699_HDR.jpg
The husky pull handle is the only mod I did
If anyone gets one grease the chain adjuster before installing it
They are very stiff to begin with.

The 288s have been reasonable
Yes those have been pretty good for price, but the 395xp is about as big as they might go and if its close to what a used OEM would cost I'm not going to touch it.
I found my 394xp last year for 300.00 and it only needed a intake separator for the carb box. With the G888 above 600.00 I just cant see not buying a used OEM for a little more ( not ebay jack wagons price) . If the G888 was in the 4$$ range I definitely would have considered it.

Maple snapped off in the cemetery at the bottom of my ridgeIMG_20220502_181307595_HDR.jpg
It missed all the tombstones somehow

I went down and cut it out
Neighbor is getting it for firewood.
Little saw does fine if you don't overload the bar
Just let the chain cut and it never bogged.

This explains much
I only have experience with one farmertec 365/372 I built from their parts kit.
And I have used many of their
365/372 parts
But those parts from farmertec were completely different manufactured from the complete 365/372 sàws I bought.
I believe those saws to be neotec sold unbranded
I have not had a holzfforma 365/372
But apparently they were manufactured by neotec and rebadged.
I wonder how farmertec will fill orders now lol

Pms you with some questions
Did you get one?IMG_20220628_135752315_HDR.jpg
I'll probably have to buy another
I left mine with my brother his 4 kids
And his hateful wife
To trim down some big maples so I can block them
It's still doing great handy little saw.

I got my 372 farmertec kit finished up today and ran it. It was special because I have never ran a 372 and have been wanting to for a couple years. I get now why it’s so popular….I am excited to do some mods and porting because it’s already as strong as my 440 with mods.

Ok I have an issue. I was tuning on the saw today seeing if I could lean it out some. I can’t seem to lean it out. The high speed is fully closed and it’s still a little fat, which is not good. I’ve never experienced this issue before. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Could they have drilled the main jet too big or something?

Sounds like an excuse the muffler mod it. That’ll pan it out.

Its more then likely that the needle is hanging up, maybe trash in it or mis adjustment of lever arm.
Open the carb up on white paper towels and see if anything shakes out.

@Maintenance Chief - Thank you. I didn’t see anything cleaning it this morning. I will try a carb kit with new arm if that doesn’t work.

If that’s not it I will just get an oem hd-12.

I've had a few bad carbs 1 372 and 3 288
Just flat out wouldn't work.
A few had too stiff of spring so I swapped the spring out for old oem springs.
