I do believe aftermarket 266 full circle fullwraps
And aftermarket 268/272 offset fullwraps
Would be successful
And of course aftermarket 266 topcovers.
There's a large resurgence and new
Owners of the 2 series.

Czed am I reading correct that a regular 288 clutch cover and flag will work on a 272?

I’m asking because I have a 272 w wrap and the flag is too close to the wrap. It’s a pain in the arse at times

No, a regular 288 flag swapped on to a 272 cover will work. You can put a 272 cover on a 288, but not vice versa.

Not to hijack but anyone know if the aftermarket stuff will work? I tried to put an oem 272 flag on an aftermarket cover. No dice.

I was able to use an oem flag on an aftermarket cover. Wish I remember what brand aftermarket. They’re not all the same unfortunately as you know

I got the email on that, I wonder why they don’t just improve the quality of their own product? I also wonder how they are getting by epa regulations, is it just because they don’t have dealers in the USA?

And with shipping it’s getting pretty expensive $375 and you have to wait a month to 45 days or $415 to get it in a week or too

It's really odd to change so many things on their saws
I mean are they going to sell real deal
Meteor, walbro and what they term Italian cylinders
Which by the way I've seen white box
eBay china cylinders marked made in Italy.
Plus they still sell all their own branded part's.
But like I always suspected the complete saws are made by a different company
I have one and it definitely is different castings than some farmertec
Saws I built.
