There is just shy of 130 chains there. Good to hear that they are working well. Definitely agree it’s Hard to go wrong for the price…

I'm good on chains for a bit
And got another neotec Husqvarna tool kit
I wish everyone would package chains in the soft plastic like hipa
You could carry a extra chain or two and not even
Notice them
Oregon hard plastic and Stihl cardboard boxes collapse and tear apart.

Ran a loop of the hipa it actually cut very good for out of the box chain
Didn't self feed but was smooth and didn't chatter when pressure was on it
I ran 2 tanks through it cutting trash
Had to tighten the chain once
About like lgx to me.
I don't time crap

My brother has been getting into small Chinese diesel engines. He bought this one to repower an old Scag mower but it didn’t quite work so he got a water pump to go with it. I’ll let everyone know how it goes. He did mention having to clean up some casting.

They make smaller ones which might be good for a warm weather splitter. I couldn’t imagine starting one in below freezing temperatures. Even with the compression release you might break your wrist if you’re not careful.C9CE5436-96B7-45A9-868B-38B3663FFA8C.jpegF92627FA-93F3-4A78-95DE-B76123E9D395.jpeg

Personally I'd Invest in a roll of trueblue starter rope or any other quality rope
I've broke many china ropes on predator engines and china saws
We have a gillardoni diesel engine on a log splitter
When cold trying to pull It
broke solid leather belts we tried Paracord and nylon ropes
We could not break trueblue.

My biggest problem with the chusky's is the stupid sparkplug boots
All of them have rotted away since I bought them IMG_20230430_174137.jpg
So I bought a pile of Oregon replacement bootsIMG_20230430_174904.jpg
I got everything in to rebuild a damn ms290 into a 390 and a damn fs44 Stihl so called trimmer.
And you get about everything to fix a 250 for 18.00 carb, coil, intake, fuel, oil line's filter etc.
And I have a bunch of trash to fix
440/445/455 needing carbs rebuilt and fuel systems gone through.IMG_20230430_173627.jpg

Got the second 365 I turned into a 372 back
Still running from my nephew
I'm going to try to mill with it.

An update on my hipa chain usage...
We've been running it like mad for a week now, cutting dirty pine and oak....it cuts just great and is holding up as well as anything in dirty stuff.

This is the environment we're running the chains in.IMG_20230430_105218.jpg

That 84dl after wv 6% sales tax is 47.98 per loop
Imho Stihl chain is not 10 times more better
Than china chain
hipa is new to me but after a couple tanks in hardwood it's holding up fine
Just like other makes of china chain I've been running several years it's good for my use.

Was waiting on a Hipa chain order for 72dl .050... Apparently they cancelled it. No worries. Ordered another dozen 84dl chains.

Ran a new loop of 84 dl .050 3/8 full comp Hipa on the MS361 the other day. Stretches about the same, or a bit more than LGX. Cuts well. It's not Stihl RS, but damn well worth the $5.

Just ran my first Hipa out the box and it’s cutting dirty hardwood pretty well. It’s a 3/8 66dl and I got one tank run through it and I’m not gonna touch it for another tank or two. Stretches like every other chain but it’s a darn good deal for 5 bucks.

Nice pile there. I’m working in similar sandy dried mud and haven’t noticed any huge difference between that and Oregon. Stihl is a little better but not that much.
