ok, so rather than do wrestling moves i decided to do chainsaw stuff. a little wiring on the switch. these wires were soldered through holes in spades coming out of the switch. i didnt wanna heat it up and risk melting other stuff i just snipped em off and filed em flat. had to put a new connector on the blue wire.

well, it does start and run. i learned a couple things.
started on a prime immediately, but wouldnt stay running, wasnt pumping fuel.
didnt realize the top cover had pinched the pulse line i added…

also, my carb flange thingy broke instantly. it was already most of the way broken, hoped it would last a little longer tho.

did a quick and dirty job on making a new thingy. good enough for the dikhead who is runnin this thing.
this pic just shows the broken one, another broken one (which i actually ended up using) and a stock unmodified piece as you would have found on a partner 5000/jonsered 490/pp325

also added a small piece of rubber under the screw hole to hopefully soften the vibes and not break again right away
