so, in case anybody was wondering, that is some of the finest michigan speedwood you can find. and by that i mean its poplar thats been laying in the yard for a year or so lol. ill try to make another vid later, i made some cuts in some fresh hard maple and i feel like it did pretty well in that.

here it is in some hard maple. you could hear at the end of the cuts where i started to lean on it pretty good and it dropped rpm pretty quick.

wifes gonna be home this afternoon so im gonna make a few more cuts and then go and dig back into it a bit. gonna pu t timing wheel back on and see where things stand, but i think its gonna get a couple more degrees of ex and transfer duration and a little timing advance and see where that gets me.
