The last powdered case had that in this area. I used my Dremel with a wire brush and removed it. Worked fine. Is that an OEM clutch or one from across the pond? The reason I ask is I bought a clutch for a smaller saw and when I spun it on yesterday there is certainly something awry -- it wobbled going on like a rim with one lug nut on . Needless to say it came off immediately.
Farmertec clutch.
No problems with the clutch as far as fitment.
But the clutch drum.......well that didn't fit right.
It was rubbing on the aluminum oiler hose and the brake brand.
Installed used OEM clutch drum.......problem solved.

The only China clutch drums I've gotten had fitment issues. Although I use a number of aftermarket parts -- some things I don't sweat. (I don't use aftermarket fuel lines or impulse lines, just for an example). I am open to trying things -- but not opposed to tossing them when I realize the backlash is worse than just buying what I need.

Well we gotta brand new OEM tank to install and lucky enough, it comes with a fuel hose pre installed.
The impulse hose was AM.
I will say that the rubber is a much softer durometer than OEM.

Well from now on you guys wont have to worry about that area being powdered well mask it off

Like i said before i didn't know it caused a problem

When we powder we powder its meant to be stuck some where around 8 to 10 mills thick after baking

We are starting to double coat items Light coat bake 5 mins recoat then bake 10 mins at temp
